Clinical and Child Psychologist
A little about me ...
I am a certified clinical and child psychologist. Studied and trained chiefly in India, I have since worked in India, the USA, and Germany in various positions and capacities. In my career of 25 years so far, I have worked with children and adults from more than 35 countries, and five different continents. Over the years, I have published several research papers and book chapters; the first one was published already before I was 21. It took however another 26 years to publish the first book, 'Talk to My Brain: CBT-based Stories for Children.'
I currently work at Applied Psychology Services, Böblingen, Germany, as Lead Clinical Psychologist. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, painting, and gardening.

Clinical Approach
Over the years, I have worked with adults, adolescents, teens, and children from various cultural, lingual, and ethnic backgrounds. I believe that there are many unique reasons behind a struggle or disorder; and only a unique combination of therapies and interventions leads to recovery and healing. My approach for the clinical work is thus, multimodal and eclectic. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Differentiated Skills Training.
I also offer Play Therapy, Neuro-Cognitive Training, and Social Skills Training for children, adolescents, and adults, depending upon the need.
My commitment to a multi-axial framework stems from a profound understanding that mental well-being is influenced by a complex interplay of biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors.
Areas of Focus
I also work with children, and adults with high-functioning autism spectrum disorder, learning disorder, language processing disorder and ADHD.
